This form is for all ACU students with a special circumstance that impacted their ability to study on or after the census date.
If the census date has passed and you have withdrawn, failed or are still enrolled but will be unable to complete your studies, you may be eligible to apply for a refund of fees and/or remission of your HELP debt due to special circumstances.
Applications must be lodged within 12 months of withdrawing or, if you did not withdraw, within 12 months of the end of the relevant study period. These dates are in accordance with the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (HESA) and applications lodged after these dates may not be considered.
If you are considering submitting an RE request, then it may be beneficial to contact the Student Advocacy Service for information and advice.
How to apply
You are eligible to submit an RE request if circumstances such as the following occur:
Check to see if your special circumstances meet the eligibility criteria as determined by the HESA
As you answered yes to all three questions, you are eligible to submit this RE request.
What you will need to complete the RE request:
Please return to complete the RE request once you have obtained all of the information and supporting documentation required, including the Professional Authority Statement.
As you answered no to one or more of these questions, you are not eligible to submit an RE request for a re-credit and refund of fees.
If you believe there is a University error on your enrolment, please submit an Application for Right of Correction.
